ABOUT
When I was a kid, living my best life in Pittsburgh, PA, my dad would drive me and my sisters to the Carnegie Library.
Spending hours in the kids' section is where I learned to appreciate the art of good storytelling -- and how to put
words and pictures together to create something smart and compelling.
I moved from Pittsburgh to New York City to Minneapolis, from junior copywriter to senior writer to copy manager. I built a career making sure projects start with a spot-on creative strategy, and end with the right words thoughtfully put together to solve the marketing challenge. With a lot of collaboration along the way.
Here's my process:
• Identify the audience, then write with their needs in mind.
• Speak to them, not at them.
• Make technical copy understandable and relatable.
• Make ALL copy understandable and relatable.
• Have a sense of humor because work can get crazy.
• Through it all, keep calm and write on.
